The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study for the Exploration Drilling in Block 4 Offshore Lebanon is now posted at the LPA website and made accessible at this link. The EIA was conducted by TOTAL E&P Liban (the Operator in Block 4) and was led by the international Consultant “RSK” and the Local Consultant “Dar Al Handasah” in line with the Lebanese regulations.
The Ministry of Environment approved the EIA Study on the 18th of February 2020.
The drilling activities in Block 4 were initiated accordingly where the spud date was on the 3rd of March 2020. Read more
