"Michel Issa Foundation" Aims to Promote Local Development

"Michel Issa Foundation (For Local Development)" (MIF) is a Lebanese NGO founded in 2012, dedicated to the promotion of local development as a main factor that builds local capacities through the implementation of non-profit projects. Its main objective is to promote the concept of local development through the implementation of development programs in collaboration with concerned authorities and through the support of the civil society and local administrations. 

MIF launched its first projects in Amchit and commits to expand its scope of work and activities to different Lebanese regions to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors, strengthen social capacities and enhance the sense of social belonging. Check here some of MIF Projects & Activities:

  • MIF and Berytech Signed an MOU to Create a Business & Innovation Center in Amchit
  • MIF, Fransabank, the Mayor Assembly of Byblos, and Vitas organized the Micro-Credits Project in Jbeil 
  • MIF Honored Gabriel Abi Saad, World Champion in Mental Arithmetic 
  • MIF Signed An Agreement to Build and Restore Amchit Municipality Building
